FX Banknotes Spring/Summer Social Media and SEM Campaigns

To capture the attention of Wells Fargo customers who travel internationally and purchase foreign currency through other means or providers, Wells Fargo Foreign Exchange launched a campaign during peak travel seasons to increase awareness that Wells Fargo is a provider of foreign currency. The campaign also educated its customers on the benefits of purchasing foreign currency prior to traveling internationally. These ads were featured in FaceBook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Wells Fargo measured the campaign by social/digital engagement rates and quantified online foreign currency transactions that are placed as results of campaign impressions/clicks.

Wells Fargo has a large presence at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) annual conference for treasury management and finance executives. They wanted to create a lasting impression for conference attendees by initiating a social media campaign to let customers know that can help customers reach their business goals through banking innovation. The ads were featured in FaceBook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
